Pokémon Type Calculator

Pick one or two types to see the full effectiveness chart — every weakness, resistance, and immunity, on both defense and offense.

Pick 1–2 types

Pick a type (or two, for a dual-type Pokémon) to see what it's weak to, resists, and hits hard.

How to read the results

Defending as shows what happens when your picked type(s) get hit — 2× or 4× means extra damage taken, ½× or ¼× means resisted damage, and 0× means fully immune. Attacking withshows the reverse for each type you picked individually — what that type's moves are super-effective, not-very-effective, or useless against.

Dual types

Pick two types to see the combined defensive matchup for a dual-typed Pokémon — the calculator multiplies both types' resistances and weaknesses together, the same way the games do (a 4× weakness happens when both types are weak to the same attack).
