Random Pokémon Move Generator
Draw a random moveset of 4: either moves your Pokémon can actually learn, or total chaos from all 685 moves in the game.
Two ways to randomize moves
Real Pokémon moveset picks a random Pokémon, then deals 4 moves from its actual learnset — every result is a legal combination you could build in-game. Keep rerolling the moves until the set makes you smile (or wince). Chaos mode ignores learnsets entirely and deals any 4 moves in the game — expect a Magikarp-with-Hyper-Beam energy that's perfect for randomizer memes.
What people use this for
- Randomizer challenge runs — let the generator decide your moveset and commit to it for the whole playthrough.
- Wheel-of-fortune battles — each player generates a set for the same Pokémon and battles with it on Showdown.
- Creative prompts— writers and artists use a weird move combo as a character brief ("why does this Snorlax know Fly?").
Build the rest of the set
Start from a random Pokémon or a full random team of 6, then roll a random ability to complete the chaos-build.
