About Random Pokémon Generator

I grew up watching the Pokémon anime, and it never really left me. Some nights I still fall asleep running through Pokédex numbers in my head instead of counting sheep — 001 Bulbasaur, 002 Ivysaur, 003 Venusaur... I built this generator because I wanted a fast, no-fuss way to summon a random Pokémon whenever the mood strikes, the same way I've been doing it in my head for years.

Random Pokémon Generator is a free tool for picking a random Pokémon with filters for type, generation, starter status, legendary rarity, and shiny form. It draws from the full National Pokédex, Gen 1 through Gen 9.

It's built for Nuzlocke challengers, players building random teams for fun, artists and writers looking for a creative prompt, and fellow lifelong fans who just want to see a random Pokémon pop up.
