Choose a tool by the result you need
- Need a subject? The single Pokémon picker returns one species; the team generator draws several distinct species, and the builder lets you choose your own roster.
- Need a reveal for a group? The Pokémon wheel selects a species. The type wheel selects one of the eighteen type categories, which you can use as a theme.
- Need battle numbers? The stat calculator works forward from IVs, EVs, level, and nature. The IV calculator works backward from a displayed stat and known inputs.
- Need a matchup? The type calculator handles an attacking type and a defending type or pair. Coverage compares the move types your team carries against pure defending types.
- Need a name or a build prompt? Nicknames, abilities, and movesets have separate generators so you can keep the species fixed while exploring the next decision.
The species tools use the site's standard roster through Generation Nine. Introduction generation is different from availability in a particular game, and a generated candidate is not a legality check. Each tool page explains its own inputs, outputs, and limits before you commit to a challenge or training plan.
