Random Gen 6 Pokémon Generator

Which Pokémon count as Gen 6?

Gen 6 covers the 72 Pokémon first introduced in Pokémon X & Y — National Pokédex #650 (Chespin) to #721 (Volcanion), all originally discovered in the Kalos region. Regional forms of older Pokémon aren't counted; only brand-new species are.

About Generation 6

Generation 6 arrived in 2013 with Pokémon X and Y, set in Kalos, a region based on France. It moved the series to full 3D and added the Fairy type, the first new type since Generation 2, along with Mega Evolution. It is also the smallest generation by number of new species, with 72.

Generation 6 introduced the Kalos region with Pokémon X & Y. Its starter trio is Chespin, Fennekin, and Froakie, and its headline legendaries are Xerneas, Yveltal, and Zygarde. Every one of the 72species above is in this generator's pool — starters, legendaries, and everything between.

Gen 6 Pokémon by the numbers

The random Pokémon generator for Gen 6 draws from 72 species, the smallest of the nine generations. Their most common types are Fairy (13), Dragon (9) and Grass (9), and 57% of them have two types, the third-highest share.

6 are legendary or mythical (8%), the fourth-lowest share. The average base stat total is 429, the fifth-highest. The strongest Gen 6 Pokémon that isn't legendary or mythical is Goodra (600), the fastest is Talonflame with a base Speed of 126, and the heaviest is Avalugg at 505 kg. Types are counted by each Pokémon's current typing.
